Ban Live Export

RallyPromoFlyer_Melbourne_copy.jpg

This week we saw more disturbing revelations about animal abuse arising from our live export of sheep and cattle from Australia. Animals Australia have called a national rally, which we will be attending in solidarity with all those opposed to this appalling industry.

Come along and wear your AJP colours.

South West Coast By-Election

On Saturday the 31st of October, we will be standing in the SouthWest Coast election and representing the animals. If you are able to help out on the day please contact Jen:

Marketing - the focus for our next members meeting

We want everybody in Victoria:

- To know that we exist! The Animal Justice Party in Victoria is a real political party with real goals to reduce animal cruelty. Voting for us gives us power, and might get us elected.
- To know we stand against animal cruelty and to consider whether this is something worth voting for.

How do we get the message out there? Flyers, posters, social media, TV? What are our options? What are the costs? Who can help us do it?

Help us figure out the best possible use of our (very limited!) marketing dollars leading in to the next election...

Next regular member's meeting - Thursday 22nd October

Our next monthly meeting is this Thursday, 22 October at 6:30pm, Ross House at 247 Flinders Lane in the CBD.

Along with news and reports, we will be setting aside the bulk of our time to talk through marketing campaign options for the upcoming Federal election. If you have ideas, or want to hear other people's ideas, please come along!

Also, a reminder that each of eight Regional Groups hold monthly meetings, one in your area! If you want to know where and when, check out the Victorian website (ajpvic.org.au) or contact us on ajpmemberships@gmail.com
