Andy Meddick is the candidate for Corangamite
Andy Meddick is has resided on the Surf Coast (near Geelong) for 27 years with his family.
He has been employed in the construction industry for many years. During his time in construction he has been a strong union supporter. A powerful combination of drive, compassion for animals, and knowledge makes him a truly great AJP politician.
In the seat of Corangamite during the lead up to the 2016 Federal Election, Andy aims to fight tooth and nail for the issues involving the exploitation and cruelty towards our fellow living beings, environmental matters, and for humans – such as members of the general public whom the current government ignore.
During his 2016 Federal Election campaign launch on the 4th of March he highlighted some of the issues he will be campaigning for leading up to the election. These include:
- The “Geelong Star” Supertrawler
- Live Exports
- 1080 Poison
- Puppy Factories
- Factory farmed animals
- Greyhound Racing
- Issues regarding Indigenous Australians
- The cutting of benefits to single mothers
- Refugee issues
Voting for Andy Meddick and the Animal Justice Party is a very viable alternative to the ‘big three” parties – all of whom in the most part, fail to address these issues with the level of seriousness required to make any real change. Andy genuinely wants to see real change in his lifetime and believes that he and the AJP can hold the government accountable on animal welfare and other issues.
