Our next monthly meeting is Thursday, 23 April at 6:30pm, Ross House at 247 Flinders Lane in the CBD.
We will bring everyone up to date with what is happening now in NSW, as well as the rest of our organisation and campaigns.
Meet our new MP!
This Friday the 24th of April we will be holding a celebration event from 7pm to late in Fitzroy. Guest star attraction will be the first elected politician for animals in Australia, the Honourable Mark Pearson, MLC. Watch our Facebook page for details of the event which are still being finalised. Come and celebrate our success!
AJP will soon be embarking on a complete overhaul of our Policies and inviting all members to contribute. If you have expertise and/or special interest in any areas of policy and the time to contribute to the drafting process please email Brenton Edgecombe on [email protected]
National Conference - Reserve the date
The Animal Justice Party National (and Victorian state) Conference will be held on the 4th of July in Melbourne. The theme of the conference is "Have your say".
Promotional material will be released within the next two weeks so that it can be more widely advertised in the party across the country.
Victorian Committee Election
As decided at earlier meetings, there will be an election in July to decide our next Victorian Committee. This will be conducted in person at the National Conference (with provisions for proxy and postal voting if you cannot make it). More information including the voting rules, how to nominate, etc, will be released in the coming weeks.
