Bryn Hills has lived in Ballarat for many years with his wife and two daughters and has been a school teacher for over 25 years. He is actively involved in the Animal Justice Party Western Region and the regional group leader of the Ballarat Sub Branch. Bryn has been a member of the Animal Justice Party for over four years and believes strongly in the Party’s mission to protect and promote animal rights through campaigning, education, rallies, outreaches, protests, and ultimately through changing legislation.
Bryn is standing as a candidate in the 2018 State election to provide regional voters the opportunity to vote for a political party that has shown the capacity to stand up for animals and place their welfare firmly on the political agenda. Bryn believes one of the great strengths of the party is its “Swiss army knife” approach to the political conversation which delivers better outcomes not only for non-human animals, but the environment, social justice and people as well.
Bryn believes the Party’s core values and science based approach to climate change set it apart from the other parties and provide a real alternative to people who support a greener, fairer and more compassionate society. It is these values and policies that will benefit the human and non-human residents of Wendouree.
